⚠️ Please note that only paid users will be able to import data into their CometChat app

1. Download our data import template in a .CSV format

   

    

2. Fill out the appropriate fields for the desired import type (users, groups, or messages). To view the requirements for the fields, simply hover over each cell to view the provided notes
   
   
   

3. Click save and then send it to our Support team by submitting a request.

⚠️ Imports takeabout 24-48 hours depending on the size of the data. Please reach out to us in advance to import your users' data before
an event with the correct data file and your app ID.

💡 For imports via database, you will have to provide a dump of your users' table which we will import into our database. This method is
quicker compared to CSV import.
