Yes, this can be accomplished using User Roles. Follow these steps:
- Navigate to the CometChat Dashboard and, under General, go to User & Groups > User Roles.
- Create a new role and save it.
- Once the role is added to your list, click on the role to edit it.
- In the Permissions tab, disable the Send Message option along with any other necessary permissions.
- Assign this new role to the users for whom you want to disable sending a message.
